Q: How many employees do you have?
A: None - It's just me! All my items are hand-painted, assembled, sealed, packaged and shipped by me!! No two items are exactly the same because of that! That's why it may take a few days to do orders if they are out of stock! I can only make things so fast, so if multiple people order the same item, I run out quickly! You will not see an "out of stock" tag on the item because I have it set to continue to sell items even if they are sold out. I will contact you by text or email and let you know the item will take a few extra days.
Q: How long will my order take?
A: If the item is currently in stock, it will ship in 1-3 business days. I usually ship on M/W/F. If the item is not in stock, it will take about 3 days to cut, paint, assemble, seal coat, cure, package and ship the item(s). Orders are completed in the order they are received. I will notify you either by email or text at the number you list on the order form if the item is out of stock so you will know it may take a few extra days.
Q: Do you make custom ordered items?
A: Yes! In addition to the items on the website, I make custom signs and many of the items on the website can be personalized/customized - especially Christmas ornaments. Just drop me an email at kinneylasercrafts@gmail.com and let me know what item you are interested in personalizing or customizing. NOTE: ALL CUSTOM ORDERS REQUIRE PRE-PAYMENT BEFORE CUSTOMIZATION OCCURS. CUSTOM SIGNS (not laser cut items) CAN TAKE UP TO 2 WEEKS DEPENDING ON SIZE AND DESIGN.
Q: Can I request different colors from the ones in the photos on the website?
A: Absolutely! I am willing to do a color pallette you want as long as the colors are available in DecoArt Americana Acrylic Paint. I currently have over 200 colors in my studio, so I can create most any color palette you need! NOTE: CUSTOM COLOR PALETTES QUALIFY AS A CUSTOM ORDER AND REQUIRE PRE-PAYMENT PRIOR TO PAINTING. CUSTOM ORDERS FOR ANY ITEM ON THE WEBSITE WILL ALSO REQUIRE 3-5 EXTRA DAYS.
Q: Do you have an actual brick and mortar shop I can visit?
A: No, not any more. All my business is online, but I may be doing classes at local establishments in the near future. I will advertise on the website if and when that happens.
Q: What are your laser crafts and signs made of?
A: Most of my laser decor items are made from 1/8" to 1/4" Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and 1/4" Sanded Plywood. (I also use 1/8" Baltic Birch, but due to the war in Ukraine, the main producer of Baltic Birch, it is getting very expensive and harder to find.) My custom signs are made from various woods, with the most common being 1" Pine or 1/4" to 1/2" Sanded Plywood. Custom outdoor signs which will be in the elements are made using up to 3/4" Marine-Grade plywood. Porch leaners for use under covered patios and porches are made using 1" x 10" or 12" Pine. All signs are sealed using appropriate sealer for the end use. Occasionally, I will create a custom sign using recycled cabinet doors or other recycled items such as reclaimed barnwood or doors to achieve a certain look.
Q: Do you have other items you can make that aren't listed on your website?
